A young boy is locked away deep in a castle after horns started growing out of his head. After breaking free from his confines, he rescues a mysterious girl from her cage. Together they must escape the dangers of the castle and fend off the shadow creatures haunting their every move.

This game used to make me cry, the music and Yorda's sad story. It really makes you feel.
I remember our first play-through for me was actually with all of my family my step-brother step-dad mom and myself. We all took turns playing we took like 2 weeks and explored every nook and cranny and then we split a watermelon and then i redid the ending to see what happened if you DIDN'T bring a watermelon. I loved this game a lot it sparked all of my original play-times to be fair. Man nostalgia…
I wanted to love this game but by the time I made it to the graveyard the camera drove me crazy. I wish they would have improved the camera function on the remaster.

Good video, glad i watched it! Dont think ill be trying to play through on my own though, the shadow fights just seem so tedious and annoying until you got the lightsaber, even the final fight with them with that special sword seemed annoying the way they just prance away from you. I would never have managed to see the ending without watching a playthrough like this. Now time to do some meta research and dig into the lore more!
Have this HD collection because Shadow of the Colossus is one of my favorite games ever, but i just cant seem to really get into Ico. So im gonna watch this while i replay shadow. Maybe it will convince me to like Ico more and actually play through it

Do you need to keep the mace in the first playthrough to get the lightsaber? I left the mace behind because I didn't like how it looks. But I want the lightsaber. Also I'm playing on PS now so maybe that will be a problem?

I'm a PC gamer. But I always wanted to see how this game was ever since I saw it reviewed bay Adam Savage on ZDTY. He said that when he thought Yorda was going to fall, he actually dropped the controller stood and yelled NO!.
